Louis started photography in at the age of 15,for a group of friends that had formed a band and needed some publicity. Later on he took formal photography training and started work for a commercial studio in Montreal where he got into doing some fashion photography with some of the best models of the era. After many years he decided to travel on a motorcycle around Europe for a couple of years.
He then returned the west coast of Canada where he now resides on Salt Spring Island.
"I have always enjoyed doing photography and with the advent of good digital SLR cameras I am enjoying it even more now as I can do my own post production editing.It is also much easier to show ones work on the web."
